Cardi B is Awesome!

I see the pain in your eyes

.

And truth is, only the strong survive

.

And you still here, so from here you only gon’ rise

.

Spread them wings so they can tell how far you gon’ fly

.

You don’t gotta pop them pills

.

I know just how you feel

.

I know there’s alot of fake love

.

But there’s love that’s actually real

.

But that can’t stop you now

.

You’re already on the battlefield

.

Took everything that came your way

.

Almost at the top of the hill

.

Fly, baby, fly

.

.

 Never give up

.

We’re almost at the top of the hill now

.

It took a long time to heal now

.

And you know that I know, and you know, and they know

.

That we will never give up.

.

.

We’re almost at the top of the hill now

.

It took a long time to heal now

.

And you know that I know, and you know, and they know

.

That we will never give up

I love @iamcardib ‘s words in this song. It’s called “Never Give Up” and if you are going through a difficult time right now, if the world seems a little dark and you’re not entirely sure where you’re headed, give this song a listen.

.

Think what you may about this artist, she overcame so much in her life to be where she is now, and it is inspiring to me that she chose to create a song to uplift others going through difficult circumstances, and let them know that they are not alone, and that they are loved.

.

I want more humans in our world acting like this. I want more compassion, I want to spread more love, I want to be more and more the change, less and less the problem.

.

I want more of us to be brave. Let’s challenge ourselves and each other to look outside of our immediate needs and wants and see what WE can do to make a difference in the lives of others.

.

What can WE do to help those who are alone, behind closed doors, suffering in silence. How can we bring about less despair, less pain, less hopelessness, less cruelty in their lives. I challenge you to think- how can you shed more light, more love, more hope, more justice. We can all do more, and we can all be better. Who’s with me?
